Finished one book on the train ride to and from New York, and the next book on the plane rides to and from Boston.

8. East of Ealing - Robert Rankin - [787/1470 53.54%]
Book three in the "Brentford Trilogy".  Just as weird as the other books in this series, maybe even more so if that's possible.  It didn't so much conclude as it did stop, not quite as satisfactory as the others.  There is one more book in this "trilogy", but I'm going to take a break from Rankin for a bit and first read some of my new acquisitions.

9. Bridge of Birds - Barry Hughart - [788/1470 53.61%]
Yes, it's as good as everyone has been telling me :)  If you've not read it yet, I highly recommend it.  I've added his other two books to my want list.

Next up, American Gods

I loved American Gods too. _Brilliant_ book. I know you'll like it.

Bridge of Birds was definitely the best of the 3, but the other two books are well worth reading as well.

Actually I've recently seen all 3 in one trade paper that I think was released recently. Bridge of Birds was out of print also until recently, so hopefully that means they'll reissue the other two separately as well. I tracked down used copies.
