19. Marooned in Realtime - Vernor Vinge
Two novels connected by a short story and all collected in the omnibus Across Realtime. Some interesting ideas and some weird characters. I probably would have done better if I took a break between the two books (they are separated by thousands of years - though contain some of the same characters...). Still, not a bad read.
