mikeknGah. It's after 2:30 already. Two days ago the day couldn't go fast enough, today it's going way too fast.
Woke up today feeling much better. Most of my hearing had even come back. Sadly after being up for an hour or so the congestion came back and the hearing went away. so I'm not quite done with this thing.
Our electronic tax filing got kicked back with an error. Fortunately it's an error that the company (TurboTax) already knows about and the hope to have a fix in place tomorrow.
I spent yesterday at a meeting in NYC, so I was off-line all day and got nothing else done. I did get to hear some good music while riding the subway. At one of the stations there was someone playing the pan flute. Unfortunately my train came pretty quickly so I didn't get to listen for very long. I did notice that they had some CDs for sale, but I didn't catch a name. While on the train, a group of three guys came through with drums and played a few numbers between stops. They were very good, and mentioned having a CD on CDBaby, but again I didn't catch their name. I tried searching CDBaby for them, but there are a lot more NYC subway drummers then I expected.
Of course while I was bouncing around CDBaby, I added another half dozen CDs to my wish list...
In my last update I forgot to mention that we had our upstairs bathroom redone while we were in Vegas. Our friend Ron, came in and stripped the ceiling, walls, and floor. Painted the first two and put down ceramic tile for the last one. We also got a new medicine cabinet, a new light, a new fan and new sink fixtures. We're waiting for the shower surround that we ordered to come in so we can finished up the last few items. We're very happy with results :)
I got a postcard from the Arden Theatre. They are doing a production of "The Stinky Cheese Man and other fairly stupid tales" in April and May. My sister (who's birthday is today) first introduced us to the Stinky Cheese Man stories, so we may go see it at some point. It is mostly a production for kids, but that probably won't stop us.
The Barn (Norristown theater company) sent out their new season info as well. They will be doing "Aspects of Love", "The Lion in Winter", "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Blithe Spirit". I definitely want to see "The Lion in Winter", but I'm not sure about any of the others.
