27. Bloodsucking Fiends - Christopher Moore [808/1520 53.16%]
This is the first book I read from Christopher Moore, and I'll probably be reading a lot more of his work in the future.  In addition to being a well written and humorous novel, this one had the added bonus of having a modern interpretation of Emperor Norton as a character.

Side question for you: How do you come up with your 100 books list each year?

This was actually the first time I've tried it (and perhaps the last ;). I basically went through my shelves of stuff I hadn't read and picked 100 books that I'd either been putting off, or knew I wanted to get to or just randomly picked.

I think I was combining it with your list of books read each year. Still, if I thought I could get anywhere near 100 books read, it's something I could try (hmm...maybe 30 or 40 would be a better number for me)

The people I stole the idea from pretty much all used 50, though some used 50 total and others 50 specific (like what I did)
