mikeknWent in and voted before heading to work. The polling place had the longest line I've ever seen there. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Interestingly, there is a second district which votes at the same place, but they had no line at all.

Date: 2004-12-06 04:22 pm (UTC)I don't get to game as often as I want to, but I still love it. These days most of my time is eaten up with SCA activities.
I voted at the Jefferson Fire House (West Norriton 3-1 & 3-2). The difference seemed to be that the short line was downtown Jeffersonville, while the longer line was the more suburban areas. I'd be curious to see what the turn out of the various districts was, but I can't find that info.

Date: 2004-12-06 04:48 pm (UTC)I do have a small Thursday night group going, if you're interested, though. We try to meet as regularly as possible.
As for the voting demographic, it looks like there's a few different polling places for districts, because I'm in 3-1, and we had a line for 3-1, and 3-3 at Eisenhower. (and I can't spell, either).
So, it could just be when and where people chose to vote. I imagine that the records are available somewhere, but when you consider how lacking our city and county websites are, I'm not surprised that it's not available online =)

Date: 2004-12-06 06:34 pm (UTC)We're in different townships which is why we've both got a 3-1 at our polling place. I used to live downtown on Markley St. Now I'm over in West Norriton, but still get the prestigious Norristown mailing address :)
