SCA BoD Meeting

Is anyone going to the SCA Board of Directors meeting on October 16th in Pittsburgh?
Is the local group doing anything? (I know that weekend is also AEthelmearc crown tourney).

I plan to attend, but I'm trying to figure out how much of a trip to make it (day trip (ugh), 2 day, weekend, etc)

I'll actually be at Warrior's Naadam, where we will be missing up to half our usual riders because of (re)scheduling the event up against Aethelmearc Crown. And because I'll be at Naadam, I'll be missing a demo that looked kinda cool. Seems like a busy weekend.

There's some local discussion of maybe having some sort of gathering after in someone's home, but nothing definite. It's the same weekend as Crown, as you noted, plus there are some other conflicts, and the Board hasn't communicated with the barony at any point during the process. We found out we were having a meeting when we read a Board announcement about it.
