Not a bad story, but I found the technology and world more interesting then the characters and plot.

If you look back on my list of books, anyone marked with a * is an audio book I've listened to on my work commute. But, yeah, I do try and make time to get some real reading done each day.

Yeah...but I think I'd say the same about the original, too.

Which original? Friday? It's been too long since I read that one.

Right. I reread it a year or two ago (though I'm not sure I finished it); the characters are pretty flat, and the plot is just random.
