EK Wiki

Lots of good stuff happening on the EK wiki. A few people (notably vairavi and mollyrazor) have really gotten into adding stuff. I think I'm having way too much fun just refreshing the recent changes page :)

I need to get back to my to do page and focus on more of the structural stuff. Only real problem so far have been images that refuse to show up after being uploaded - but that turned out to be my ad blocking software (grrr - figured it out, won't happen again).

If anyone would like to have a populace page for themselves, but don't want to deal with wiki editing, just let me know and I can help put one together for you.

Your equestrian page has me thinking about what sort of format would be useful for the activities pages. I don't think we need a template for them, but some empty topic titles could help folks fill in the details.

The list so far is (taken in part from other SCA wikis):
- Historical Context
- Activities
- Groups
- Authorization Forms
- Awards
- Marshallate
- Bibliographies
- More Information

I've mostly been lurking, to help with administration, check for technical errors, offer help to wikify stuff, things like that. Relatively little content will be contributed by me, I think, as I can't be authoritative on many things (or know how to be so, necessarily), but I'll add what I can, where I can :)

I've never played with editing a wiki page, but I intend to stick my toe in shortly, with a bunch of info gleaned via the new EK-Customs forum, and filling out the Silverwing article on the Households page. (Wish me luck!)
