I can't believe I shot a 21 on the 40 yard target yesterday. Unfortunately, I can believe that it was my best score all night and was not accompanied by equally nice scores on the 30 and 20...
Usually when something like that happens to me, I blow at least one of the other three on the Royal Round ends.
I miss going to practice, and as a Company Captain, it pains me to know that the only thing I can really prep for around now is Field of Acorns and Pearls II, and information networking.
Otherwise, my job keeps me too late to arrive at the practice site on weekdays, before the last RR is shot. And there won't be RRs at FoA&P II - the RR targets are permanently affixed at the practice site (archery club in Bozrah, where 4Q is annually held). But there will be Pennsic themed shoots.
