Game of Thrones

Is anyone interested in getting together to watch a bunch of Game of Throne episodes? I've been recording them from the beginning, but haven't started watching them yet. I'm looking at either June 5th or 12th (both Sundays). Naomi has offered to cook some food from the books (via the Inn at the Crossroads blog)

19. A Game of Thrones - George R. R. Martin *

That's a long audio book, but well worth it. The reader was great and the story lived up to its reputation. Going in to it I was worried about being able to keep track of the many many characters, but it was a non-issue. I'll be reading book two in the near future :)

20. One of Our Thursdays Is Missing - Jasper Fforde

An interesting twist on the Thursday Next series - taking center stage in this volume is the written Thursday - that is the current BookWorld version of Thursday who plays in the fictional accounts of Thursday written for the real world (this makes sense if you know the series...) An enjoyable read.
 

Alfonso is back
