Wow, 2007 was a spectacularly bad year for getting books read. Here is my short year in review:
March
1. The Vesuvius Club - Mark Gatiss
July
2. The Devil in Amber - Mark Gatiss
3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - J.K. Rowling
August
4. Glasshouse - Charles Stross
5. Thursday Next: First Among Sequels - Jasper Fforde
6. You Suck - Christopher Moore
September
7. The Sharing Knife: Legacy - Lois McMaster Bujold
8. The Fourth Bear - Jasper Fforde
9. Set This House in Order - Matt Ruff
October
10. Making Money - Terry Pratchett
The only good thing I can see is that I didn't buy that many books either (about 2 dozen all year)
The last book I started (Pynchon's V) was too heavy for the times I was reading. I had mostly been reading at night before going to bed, which works find with a lot of the books I read, but V requires more attention. I've decided to put it aside for now and start something else. With luck and effort 2008 will be a better year for reading.
