I think it's just "Language"—and I think it's from her first album, Suzanne Vega. Let me go hit my music player (hey, it's not Google!...and I guessed first). OK, I'm half right: it's "Language", but it's on her second album, Solitude Standing.

"Silent Running" uses it as a chorus not an opener, so that's why it stuck in my mind while being the entirely wrong song.

Aren't three and four both Trout Fishing in America? 3's from a song simply called Dangerous and 4 is from a song about Alberta, Canada. Let me go check...Alberta Post card.
