I really shouldn't be spending that much on a book right now (not even a really really cool book) (did I mention it was about $2500? I debated for a little while, but then placed the order anyway...)

Yeah, that sounds like a really nice facsimile!

I know it doesn't compare to owning your own, but if you just want to take a look at it, both Princeton and the University of Delaware have copies.

Heh - I actually tracked down the UofD copy since I had a friend attending school there. Sadly they wouldn't let me take it out so I could "lose" it :)

I'll admit to having lusted after that book in the past. But between the low-res online Knutson facsimile, and the Golladay draft translation (not to mention the CD-ROM transcription), the super-high-end facsimile really is mostly a goody...

Yeah I agree, but it would have been a really nice goody :)

I still want to take all the scans and Golladay's translation and make my own "facsimile" of the book. I just need to get around to doing it.
