No Wednesday gaming this month. I won't be at Tuesday archery either this month. I'm working full time in Ambler, and will be spending several evenings a week working in Wayne for the next few weeks. Bad for social life - good for wallet.

I don't have a phone at work yet, and my cell phone is dieing. If you need to get a hold of me, email is best.

EK 12th Night
Cooking Thynge
Noisemaker's Schola
Nova Schola
St. Sebastian's Fair
Emmaus Fair (maybe)
Bardic Bar-Room Brawl Tavern (maybe)
Spring Thynge
Bawdy Barony Tavern (maybe)
Beltane
Alles Faire (maybe, if so daytrip only)

no Birka
no Mudthaw (They are looking for someone to run games - let me know if you are interested and I'll put you in touch with the autocrat)
no clues beyond that

Do you know anything about the Emmaus Fair event? I've been trying to get my mom to check out the SCA near her and that's fairly near her. The A&S description sounds like it would be a great place to see new-to-her stuff, especially if it's an SCA demo at a country fair because then she won't have to dress up to see the spiffy.

Nova Schola is also close enough to check out, but the example list of classes leads me to believe that the women who taught me how to sew and prepare finger food for 150 people would be bored, and we'd have a repeat of the day she disrupted a quick class at the Container Store on making bows for wrapping presents by working ahead in the little hand-out and annoying the primary teacher while delighting the flamboyant assistant :)

Emmaus Fair still sounds right up my mom's alley, it's just going to be harder to get her there since we'd have to find garb for her and she's picky about clothing. It's not that she won't dress up, but she will want to wear something that fits well and she's even harder to fit than I am :)

We'll see, there's a bit of time between now and then.
