On Thursday I visited the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to see if they could find what is causing the ringing in my ear. The inspected and probed and prodded, but didn't discover anything. They tested my hearing, but it was fine ("If your hearing was any better you'd be a German Shepard"). So in the hopes that it is a blockage or something in my eustachian tube I was given some Rhinocort to try for a few weeks. So far no change.
My final destination Thursday was the shire meeting. It ran a little longer then the past few, but we covered a lot of ground and never went off track.
Friday I stayed at home while Amy went to visit with her mother. Caught up on some TV shows, did a little around the house, but mostly rested. I had wanted to go to the newcomer's night, but that didn't happen.
Saturday we went up to
beckishadow's place for some gaming and hanging out before pinball. Got to play a few games with folks as well as a shortened game of Munchkin (shortened 'cause the pinball place was open). Thank you Becki for hosting!
Had a great time at the pinball parlour, even if I didn't take advantage of his wide assortment of games. I did try out Adams Family - it was nice, but I still prefer Medieval Madness (now if only I had the extra $6-9K needed to get one at home).
Sunday was a work at home day. I did the finances, sorted comics, caught up on exchequer paperwork, paid my local taxes, etc. We did some laundry, but still need to fold most of it. In the evening we relaxed and watched some more TV.
Overall a great weekend.

Date: 2006-04-10 06:18 pm (UTC)We ended this game early after about an hour of play and we had folks up to 6th level - but we were also teaching a few people how to play.
