Google Maps pt. 3

I suppose I should finish one before starting work on the next, but these things are too much fun. We now have:
Shire outline
Shire activities (updated)
Shire population
Still to come is a map showing event sites.

Once I figure out how to get JavaScript to do what I want, I'll probably combine these into a single interactive map. When I get that finished, then I can put the data into a database to make it easier to update and change (currently it's all hard coded).

The Shire pop. one is neat. Wow, we're actually more northern-heavy than I expected, but that pop. is just more spread out.

Yeah. I should make a marker for population center as well as geographical.

I've got a version of that one that I want to try some time. Instead of markers (or in addition to), show the zip code outlines and fill them in with the color code. I need to use another library to get the fills and I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet.
