You may need to be more specific. I'm guessing you mean the Ballad of Serenity:
"There's no place I can be, Since I found Serenity, You can't take the sky from me."
I always took it to refer to how the Browncoats don't really have a place within the Alliance, but with Serenity (the ship) they've got the freedom of the sky.
