Over half way through the week, and so far things have been going well.

Fencing practice on Monday was not our usual. Instead we visited the Ursinus fencing club and taught and played some SCA style fencing with them. They all seemed to have a good time, so maybe we'll be able to get a few of them out to our practice from time to time.

Tuesday, well, I'm having a hard time remembering what I did on Tuesday. Mostly just worked around the house and watched TV I suspect.

Wednesday I left work a little early ('cause I can). I dropped off two boxes of books at the library. Turns out they didn't want the text books (I had been told in email they could probably use them), so I took those back. At this point they are going out with the trash on Monday, unless I talk myself into keeping some of them.

That evening we went out to dinner with Kim and Derek at one of the local Indian places - yum! Then over to Zwahlen's for some coconut ice cream.

Today I'm working from home because I've got various appointments all day. I've already put 20 books up on PaperBackSwap, and even received and mailed out my first request. I've got another 20 books I'd like to put up there, but none of them have ISBNs. I may just bag'em and send them to the library.

For getting through the boring stuff, I will leave you with six things that happened on by birth day:
3 Events
- 1138 - Cardinal Gregory is elected anti-pope as Victor IV, succeeding Anacletus II.
- 1964 - A young woman, Kitty Genoveseis murdered in front of multiple witnesses who all fail to help her, in an incident which shocks the world and prompts investigation into the Bystander effect.
- 1986 - Microsoft has its Initial public offering. (and no one bought me shares for my birthday...)

2 Births
- 1615 - Pope Innocent XII (d. 1700)
- 1934 - Barry Hughart, American author

1 Death
- 1516 - King Ladislaus II of Bohemia and Hungary (b. 1456)
