One Midnight Gone

Overall I think last night can be put into the "got stuff done" column. I did dishes, put away bottles, removed bottle labels, put away more bottles, dumped a gallon of cider that just didn't work, and generally picked up around the kitchen - I can see the table now! And most of the counter!
Sprayed a few wasp and hornet nests that I'd spotted outside. Started some work in the dining room. Didn't play WoW or surf the web. Hopped on-line a few times to check email and LJ, but that was about it.
Played lots of loud music. I'm exploring the concept of comfort music - like comfort food. The music need not be "mellow" or something similar, it just needs to evoke feelings of comfort due to whatever connection you have to it. It makes sense, and I'm sure others have their own comfort music, I've just never looked at it in those terms. So I'm going through music seeing what strike me and how - trying to listen to stuff faster the I can actually play it :/
I pulled together 24 CDs to bring into work (I've got the office to myself again today - the others are down in DC looking for a grant or something). I won't get to hear all of them, but I may be able to hear the bits I want while ripping the rest. (6 down, 18 to go).
Tonight: finish some kitchen stuff. Bring full carboys up from the basement for racking/bottling soon. Start laundry. Work on dining room and living room. Play more music.
