Can't keep up...

Not sure it's worth trying. I think I need to figure out what posting "style" works best for me.
I've made it to fencing the past two Monday's, and I think I'm doing ok but my actions feel very haphazard still. We had our D&D game last Tuesday - it went much smoother then the previous one. We are going through a classic AD&D module (S2 White Plume Mountain), slightly updated by Finn for 3.5 edition. It's been fun doing a straight forward dungeon crawl. I have a copy of the module somewhere, and from time to time I get flashes of bits of it as we go through, but not enough to spoil it for me.
Thursday's shire meeting was short and simple. Alice asked again if we could bid for the next Crown Tourney in our region, but it got shot down again. Folks feel that since it would be in the Spring, that our other two events would have to be canceled or moved. K&Q A&S was mentioned as was K&Q Champion of Arms, but I don't know how likely either of them are. The Ursinus folks are working on their Revel (Nov 21st), but we didn't get any new details.
Friday we drove to Boston for an SCA event. We crashed with
cvirtue and
metageek (hi guys! Thanks again!) Had a good time visiting with them and the twins. The event was interesting. Small, but that was expected. Would have helped if we knew more people up there (working on that), still we had a good time. Got to play and watch some games, also got to dance (and watch more dancing). Didn't try to introduce the local version of Heart's Ease for three couples - it's been too long since I danced it to remember how it all worked out. (Been too long since we've had most of the gang at dance practice...). The main feature of the event was a performance of Macbeth which we enjoy greatly. Drove home on Sunday, stopping only to grab some new CDs from a Barnes & Noble we spotted on the way. Made it home before dark and before the cats had done any damage to the house :)
I've not made it to the gym for weeks (again). No time tonight (need to get ready for mead class). Hopefully tomorrow and Friday I can get there. Also way behind on reading - I had been reading at the gym for a while and have not had many opportunities beyond that.
Had lunch with my dad today. He's doing well - only a few more weeks before he will retire. Not sure what he'll do with himself once he does - he's always been a workaholic with no hobbies. Stopped in to Showcase comics on the way home, chatted with
jadedmouse who was working there today. She figured out that we'd actually met before - at a dance practice she attended with
rarcke and
peneli.
Teach mead making tonight. Attend brewers guild meeting tomorrow. Looks like I may be traveling on Thursday - I need to be somewhere on Long Island for a meeting at 9 AM on Friday and the easiest way may be to drive up Thursday night. Either way, on Friday I'll be in NY and coming home sometime in the evening. I'm trying to avoid having to drive up there again, but it may prove the easiest way. Saturday I'm going to 100 Minutes War - giving Dorigen a ride up and back. Sunday might become a make up game of D&D, but right now nothing is planned. Monday through Wednesday I'll be in Colorado working on a measurement system. I'm hoping to get enough free time to visit a meadery and a winery that are in Boulder. Later in the week I'll be back in NYC for a day. And if I'm really lucky it will be Thursday, so I can be home on Friday and can have a gaming night - something I've not done in ages.
