Monday: Put up more wine racks in the basement.  We can now hold 148 bottles :)  Sadly, I put all the stuff I bottled away and it's still not enough room.  I set aside two and half cases (on their sides) that didn't fit.

Tuesday: Bottled the hard cider.  I don't think it will be as good as last year, but it's still drinkable.  We also bottled Amy's first mead (buckwheat honey with cinnamon).

Wednesday: Went to the MDA demo that Bhakail was doing.  I got there pretty late, since I was waiting for Amy who decided to go directly from work (we need to work on that communication thing).  Good turn out of SCA folks from all over the area - the campers seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Thursday: Shire meeting - way down in Honey Brook.  Actually it's only about a 45 minute drive from my place, so that wasn't too bad.  As expected most of the time was spent discussing Alles Faire.  Sounds like the site was good (but more spread out then folks expected), attendance was about 150, which is normal of this event.  Considering all the other things happening this weekend, I don't really expect we'll  improve much on that.  They're starting to plan the next one already (which is good).

Friday: I worked from home and got ready for the event.  Finn arrived and we hit the road about 3:00.  We hit lots of traffic in NJ, and then again in CT.  We stopped for dinner at an ok Chinese place along the way and arrived at the hotel around midnight.

Saturday: Up early to get to the event for Curia.  Turned in my report (paper trail!).  Spoke with a few people I needed to catch up with (like Hawk).  I got to talk with El of the Two Knives about EK history.  He mentioned having some tapes of him telling stories of the early years - just need to be transcribe.  (another project...).  Most of the rest of the event I just wandered around taking in the site and chatting with folks.  Big site - larger then the new Alles Faire site.  Dinner was at the British Beer Company - Strongbow on tap :)

Sunday: Big breakfast at a place claiming to have the largest breakfast menu in New England.  Drove home, arriving around 5:30.  On the way home I started a to do list.  I didn't get beyond SCA stuff, and already it was three (small) pages long.

Monday: Worked on the Chirurgeon website (to do list item #1) - trying to expand it to support multiple kingdoms but with only one database/system.

Today: Working at home, while waiting for the A/C repairman.  We seem to be collecting a lot of ice on the inside coils and generating a lot of water inside (like a half inch on the floor of that room).  We mopped it up last week, and have had the system off or on fan only for a few days now to dry things out.  The repair guy should be here some time between noon and 5 PM *sigh*.

Tonight and tomorrow, more working on the Chirurgeon web site.
Thursday: EK History night
Friday: Dance practice if I'm not too tired.
Saturday: The Commons, and my sister-in-law's birthday party.
Sunday: Maybe poker, or if not that I may try to work around the house and game in the afternoon.
