Some how I found myself scheduled for 4 SCA activities this week (Mon-Fri). Now that's a bit higher then usual but the thing that caught me by surprise was that all four were at my house.
Monday I had an planning meeting for our March event (Games & Galliards). I'm now autocratting it, which I hadn't planned on doing, since I'd rather spend my time setting up and running the games tournament. But various things happened leaving me to either autocrat it or cancel it. We spent the meeting going over some basics and then went out to visit the site (new site - looks good, big feast kitchen plus a dayboard kitchen, wet, plenty of parking, hall seats 250 and they'll let us use the dish washer).
Tuesday I was in NY for business and I didn't get home until 8:30. On the plus side, they never collected my train ticket, so I've got an unreserved ticket good for a ride from NY to Philly. Just have to get back their to use it some time.
Wednesday was the brewers guild meeting. They had planned to cancel the meeting, but we'd offer to host it if anyone want to have it. Someone did, so the guild master said the meeting was on at our place. Sadly, the guild master was the only one to show up...
Tonight is my weekly EK History work night. I had expected a few people to come over with some heraldry questions as well, but I think the weather kept everyone away. As it was I was only able to inventory one group (Ostgardr - The Seahorse, in honor of my NY trip), and fix a few bugs on the historian website.
Tomorrow is my monthly Period Gaming night. There will probably be a hand full of people who show up, but no big crowds. If the weather does anything weird then I doubt anyone will show.
The saddest thing is that I've got two more activities I'd like to see happening, one (Heraldry workshop) would always be at my house and the second (Brewing) would be here some of the time.
