10. Grave Peril - Jim Butcher *

The next Dresden book builds on what has gone on before as well as giving us a new story line. As usual, very enjoyable - even if I want to smack Harry around a bit.

11. Blueberry Girl - Neil Gaiman

This was more of an illustrated poem than a story, but it was very nice. Originally written for Tori Amos and the birth of her daughter. Lovely illustrations from Charles Vess.

* Audio book

I just bought the first Dresden book. I look forward to starting the series. I only found out about it as I did a search on Amazon for calendars, and a Dresden Files calendar came up early in the results (bought that too).

...is it possible some time in the future to borrow the next book in the 'Shared Knife' series?

Grave Peril is ironically the only of the first five Dresden Books we don't have. I know what happens since I read 4 & 5, but look forward to smacking Harry myself.

I like Harry. For all the crappy stuff that happened to him, he is an inherently good guy and tries to do the right thing even though it typically costs him.

Its been a while since I read that far back in the series, so I can't remember if they've covered how much he is 'allowed' to tell people.

I agree - but it's such a consistent character trait/flaw. It's not just a plot contrivance.

Giving you crap

I don't think Blueberry Girl should count in your book log. I think you should have a minimum number of pages and that book is tiny!
