Local (mundane) archery event

I was poking around some archery sites and came across a local archery event happening at the end of the month. Wapiti Archers is having their first annual traditional archery shoot on June 28 & 29. The site is where Bhakail holds their archery practices. The event is being organized by Jim Bucci - who used to play in the SCA and was one of the marshal who traveled out to Hartshorn-dale to run shoots for us.

That Saturday is Bhakail's Investiture, so I'm planning to go to the shoot on Sunday.

Umm. Saturday is BS War.. Bhakail investitue isn't until 6/28...

That is true, but the shoot is on the 28 and 29th. I suppose I should have said "That Saturday is Bhakail..."

So, you're going Sunday then? I'm thinking about going both days. I went to Kings and Queens this weekend and it was a lot of fun.

Know anything about this place in Fort Washington other than what's on the website?

Saturday is an SCA event near Philly that I'm helping out with. You should come - it's a fairly social event and I'll be running games with Naomi.

The Philadelphia group (Barony of Bhakail) holds their archery practice at the Fort Washington site. It's a nice set up (though watch for rocks). And it is actually closer to my house then the Limerick site.

Actually, I'll probably be visiting in York on Saturday, otherwise I think I'd come.

However, I will definitely want to make it Sunday, so I'll see you there.
