Feeling bored? Destructive?

This morning I had a dumpster delivered. A very big dumpster. I'm going to be spending the next several days working in the yard, removing a bunch of plants, weeds, small trees, bushes, not-so-small trees and related crap. I'll be doing this after work today and tomorrow and during most of the weekend (minus when it gets dark or it's raining).

If anyone would like to join in the "fun", give me a call and send me a note. If anyone has a small chainsaw they want to lend, let me know.

Today's lunch time mission is to get the tire to the wheelbarrow fixed or replaced. And maybe pick up another pruning saw or one of those extension pruning things.

First practice

Last night I got to run my first official archery practice (yay!) We had a good turn out - 6 people, and spent the entire time shooting Royal Rounds. High score for the evening was singewulf's 66 (woot!)

I shot two rounds with my bow, shooting right-handed, and then two rounds with kandy_elizabet's bow, shooting left handed. I got lucky on my second right-handed shoot and scored a 28. My left-handed shooting was still all over the place. I think when I go to Limerick next week, I'll only shoot one or two rounds and spend the rest of the time just practicing the 20 yard target and working on form. Since they've got all three distances set up, I can do this and still let anyone else who wants to do Royal Rounds.
