I've taken off the week between Christmas and New Years.  The office is mostly dead that time of year anyway,  plus it's my last chance to get stuff finished around the house before the new year.

I'm putting together a To Do list of all the things I want to finish up before the end of the year.

So, in no particular order:
1. Finish sorting and inventorying newsletters in EK History collection.
1.b  Move all newsletter boxes out of the living room and dining room and into the basement.
1.c  Move the altar out of the living room and into the dining room.
2.  Sort the three foot tall stack of comics next to the bed.
2.b  Find a place for more comic boxes (basement?).
3.  Sort and file bills and other financial documents.
3.b  Put important docs into fire proof box.
4.  Finish cleaning garage.
5.  Finish replacing mailbox.
6.  Finish running a phone line to the TiVo.
6.b  See if there is anything else we need to do in the crawl space while we have is open.
6.c  Vacuum the area and vent behind the entertainment center, then move it back where it belongs.
7.  Get the last switch cover painted in the dining room.
8.  Pick up the new bedroom furniture.
8.b  Find a place or home for the old bedroom furniture.
8.c  Move the last small bookcase from the family room to the bedroom.
8.d  Get a large bookcase for the family room.
8.e  Find places for all the things that aren't books but which are taking up bookshelf space in the family room.
9.  Bottle the Riesling Pyment.
10.  Bottle the Viognier.
11.  Buy new dehumidifier for basement.
12.  Throw out old dehumidifier.
13.  Turn off water to outside faucets.
14.  Pull out books to get rid of.
15.  Throw out the nasty old metal shelves that used to hold newsletters.

I'll probably update this list as I think of more things.

depending on the dehumidifier, you may want to modify it as a cooling jacket for lagering. I use my crappy old one to cool as an "external wort chiller" for my meads.

Dont toss the old metal shelves, either, you can break em down for emergencies, offer them to local SCAdians, or drop em at the scrap yard for brownie points toward metal you might need later ( or have a local metalworker do it )

Might be available to help you bottle that week...the site my Temp Job is at is shut down completely that week, and it doesn't look like Adecco is able to find me another job for *just that week*

(the job wants me back 3rd Jan...ALOT...but there's that week no pay thing..)

Anyway...let me know...

heck, I may be free for a bottling day the week after Christmas, but I'll need a day or three notice.
