Since I'm not going to get to start my next book tonight, and I'm not sure which one to read next, I've made a poll. The three books listed here are the ones that jump out at me when I scanned my list of unread books, but I'm up for other suggestions.

[Poll #1068200]

I know the pause and trepidation one has when scanning the pending book list. So, if it helps:

I recently read "Anansi Boys". Even better than "American Gods", IMHO. If you haven't gotten to that one yet, it's on the top of the list.

I'm currently reading "The Hidden Family", by Charles Stross. Sequel to "The Family Trade", which I found amusing enough seek out the rest of the series.

I'm lending a friend "Wild Seed" by Octavia Butler. This following an odd conversation about ethic diversity in scifi.

Never heard of any of them, so I picked the coolest sounding title. :)

Red Lighting because I bought it for the library but don't feel like reading it. *grin*

House of Leaves is fascinating but challening reading. A neat book, but fairly hard to simply read through -- it's very structurally complex...
