So I mentioned that last Wednesday at archery I shot a 30, 37 and 48 on the royal rounds. I didn't mention that the 48 was the highest I've ever shot. Yesterday we were able to get in two royal rounds before it started getting dark. I shot a 37 and 56 (!!). I don't recall what my previous high score was, but this will bring my average up to at least 48 :) (it is currently at 42) and it means I've got all next season to improve before these scores drop off the list.

One of these days, I'll have to come check out an archery practice. We were just getting the College outfitted and starting practices before I moved, and all I got from it was proof of my bad form --- a huge bruise on the inside of my left arm!

Does practice continue during the winter (is the indoor shooting out here)?

Yep! The Tuesdays practice site has an indoor range. It is limited to 20 yards, but it is enough to keep folks in shape and in practice. This is probably the last month for outdoor evening practices but there will be some Sunday afternoon practices until it starts getting too cold to shoot.
