Thursday already?

Somehow I thought I'd have a lot more time to play with LJ over the holidays. Then part way through I figured out that I'm more likely to post from work then from home, and now it's Thursday...
I quickly got in the habit of reading other peoples journals, maybe it will just take some time before I get in the habit of posting.
The holidays were filled with visits with family and friends, shopping and work on the EK Historian (SCA) website. I hoping to have enough of the site up and running to be able to open it to the public before the end of the month.
Had lunch with my boss yesterday. He's cool but I don't get to see him very often. Our company was profitable last year (yay!) and I'll be getting a raise (yay! first one in over two years).
We've got our shire meeting (SCA) tonight. I get to run it since the seneschal (local group president) can't make it this month. Should be pretty straight forward, but I still need to put together an agenda of some sort. Our meetings are always *very* casual, some times too casual, but that seems to be what most people in the group prefer.

Date: 2004-01-08 02:20 pm (UTC)Glad to hear you had a safe holiday season. I hope your shire meeting is mercifully short; our Barony meeting was last night, and while it was quite pleasant it was also very LONG. ;)

Date: 2004-01-08 04:21 pm (UTC)I suspect the meeting will be short - we've only got a few things going on right now (Game and Galliards being the main thing).
Anything interesting happening in the Barony?

Date: 2004-01-08 07:25 pm (UTC)Coatsville is about 30+ min from where I am in Norristown (south west side), but would be about an hour from Amber.
The normal place (in Collegeville) should only be about a half hour from Amber.
