view the cats at home.
But what if they feel the same
as they gaze out the window?
The cats are doing pretty well these days. Tyr becomes a little more social every day. A while back I put a set of cat steps next to the bed, and now he, Gunther and Grimalkin sleep up there with me every night. If I'm under the covers he has no problems coming over to get petted. Elsewhere he will sometimes come to me when I try and pet him, but usually it requires the girls showing up first to lure him in.
Eir has been come more visible - meaning she doesn't always run away and hide when she sees me. She still won't let me near her, but I've got time. The web cam lets me know she looks health and is active when I'm not around, so all is good.

katnboots's December tanka challenge. Above is yesterday's tanka written while at work (which LJ wouldn't let me post). I've got today's started but it is time to head off to Yule so I won't get to finish it until tonight or tomorrow.
