I don't like either the LJ or the FB apps at all. I pretty much don't follow FB on my phone and do LJ through Safari.
Free Apps I use frequently:
Unblock Me (free...there's a pay version, too with more levels) WeatherBug BBCReader iTV AIM Pandora
I also recommend Labyrinth, though I don't use it often, because it's just plain neat.
Non-Free Apps I liked enough to buy and would buy again: ListOmni - to do lists and such, there are more expensive ones that sync to computers/the web, but this one does everything I need, which none of the free ones did.
