math5 always calls fencing practice "Friends Killing Day" (aka FKD). Below are all the suggestions given the other day for a name for target archery practice. Please pick your favorites:
I think it rocks, personally. I believe we're planning squirrel-shaped archery targets for Beltane. One of our archery people (Damiana) hates squirrels and we promised her she could wear one with an arrow through it's head. I have two squirrel tails that we intend to hang beside our banner. We have no conflict with squirrel-scaring that I'm aware of. We'll find it tremendously amusing.
.22 are. When you have worked with the black squirrels to the extent that you have, I would imagine that after a while you may choose to use a .44 instead, just to make sure the job gets done.
