The Illuminated site of the week: Seremuppety

Seem there is a local theater that is going to have two midnight showings of Serenity on Feb 10th and 11th. Neither are good days for me to be out until 3 AM, so I'll probably have to skip seeing it one more time, but figured I'd let folks know. But the rest of the list of shows at the theater looks good too.

Ok, a time and place have been picked! We'll be seeing the 7:25 show on Friday (9/30) at the Regal Oaks. Come one, come all.

Well, I was only partially successful in my quest for tickets to the Philadelphia screening. I was able to get about a third of the number that I could have used, which is disappointing to me. Amy says it's not my job to get tickets for everyone, and she's right, but it would sure be cool if I could have.

If I was able to get you a ticket, you've already heard from me. If you've not heard from me - sorry, no luck this time. I managed to place two orders while the tickets were available, the first one went through at 11:05:24 AM and was successful,. The second one went in at 11:06:39 AM, and was unsuccessful. After that you couldn't even place an order.

One rumor says there will be at least one more screening before the official release. I won't be trying for tickets to any more, but if I hear about them, I'll let folks know.

Philadelphia went on sale around 11, and sold out in about 5 minutes.

Washington, DC; New York; Norfolk, VA; and Boston, MA are also sold out.

Hartford, CT; Providence, RI; and Columbus, OH are not, but probably will be soon.

The next pre-release screening is June 23rd in 35 cities. Some cities went on sale at midnight. Haven't seen Philly yet.
