Wow, 2007 was a spectacularly bad year for getting books read. Here is my short year in review:

The only good thing I can see is that I didn't buy that many books either (about 2 dozen all year)

The last book I started (Pynchon's V) was too heavy for the times I was reading. I had mostly been reading at night before going to bed, which works find with a lot of the books I read, but V requires more attention. I've decided to put it aside for now and start something else. With luck and effort 2008 will be a better year for reading.

Very good, and lots of fun to read. The opening line of the second book is: "He was an American, so it seemed only fair to shoot him."
