...so that everything I want to do can at least have someone working on it.

The rest of this week I'm working on putting some game boards together to sell at Green Lane. I doubt we'll need very many (which is good, 'cause we won't have that many) - every year we seem to sell less then the previous year. I tend to see the same people each year, which is kinda cool. I may bring out a few different games this year just to give them something new to try.

Friday we go up and help with set up. Saturday and Sunday are the demo.

Monday I start really pulling stuff together for the 40th Year Celebration. (Interrupted only by fencing, archery and the brewers guild meeting...)

Friday I drive to Rhode Island. Spend Saturday and Sunday at the event, and drive home some time Sunday. Whee! While I like the concept of the event, I'm not too thrilled with the execution. There is almost no information in the event announcement, and no additional details on their website. I don't have any high expectations at this point, but I'm hoping to use folks there as a sounding board for what they'd like to see from the Historian office in general. Time to start sending emails and asking questions I guess.

After that, I think things finally slow down for a bit. We're going to miss coronation because of a family obligation. I'm thinking of skipping curia at this point. I just don't need another long drive right now, especially for just a business meeting (although given the agenda it could be interesting)

End of the month is Serenity! Yay!

Don't think we'll be going to Green Lane, even though we're not going to Barley Corn now... just too much to do at home. MUST reclaim house -- and maybe even get ahead for once.

Sorry you're not making coronation. Agenda does look interesting, but there's no way we're driving up there twice in a row!

Serenity .... gotta start making plans, for sure.

Heh.. I suspect his minions are all pretty busy right now. If not, I'd hate to get them working on stuff only to have them vanish as Philcon got closer :)

Some of the more politically incorrect of my work buddies (okay, REALLY politically incorrect) used to joke about pooling their money and buying a hunchbacked Vietnamese boy to get some stuff done so they could catch up.

Of course I would never condone such racist and disgusting speech. (Unless you want to go halfsies on one. I'm way behind on the laundry and vacuuming.)

Site opens at 10 AM, getting there by 9 is best if you want a good parking spot. I usually bring my own table and chairs for the Games Tent, but the A&S tents should have several tables available.

I think that's a great idea. The Oaks theater will probably be showing it on a few screens :)
