Philadelphia Half Marathon and the Alzheimer's Association
This Sunday I will be participating in the Philadelphia Half Marathon as part of a team raising money for the Alzheimer's Association.
My grandmother Mary (Stauffer) Knauer passed away from Alzheimer's in 2009, but the person we knew had left long before that. Alzheimer's kills the people you know while leaving behind their shell. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research.
I'm about half way to my goal, and every little bit helps. Please join me in supporting a great cause:
