5. Babel-17 - Samuel R. Delany

Finished up this one some time during jury duty. Classic SF, Nebula winner that explores how language influences thought. Time to look for some more Delany books.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't run across much linguistic SF aside from Vance's The Languages of Pao and, of course, 1984. And I'm intrigued by the Sapir-Whorf theory and the surrounding controversies.

I read about Babel 17 when doing research for my SF class. It looked good, but tour review makes me want to read it more!!!
