12. Summer Knight - Jim Butcher *

Book Four of the Dresden series, and the last one I have (for now). This book continues to build on the previous books, while giving us a more details about Harry's youth. The main adversaries in this book are the fairies, with Jim Butcher once again taking the standard lore and fleshing it out and giving it his own twist.

I thought this was a nice rebound to Grave Peril. Life still isn't great (he didn't get paid) but he's come to terms with Susan and saved the world in the process.

Absolutely. He also asks for help from his friends, which to me is a step in the right direction.
