Birdhouse in Your Soul & Ana Ng I recognize (They Might be Giants)....and Rainbow Connection I recognize too...it's either Kermit the Frog or....um, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes. Josie and the Pussycats.

Yep, on TMBG (but what of the other halves?)
In this case, it's Me First & the Gimme Gimmes for Rainbow Connection. And Josie and the Pussycats is the song title, but not the artist.

Lump I'm fairly certain is Presidents of the United States. Spam I would assume to be Monty Python or Save Ferris. The Art of Suicide sounds familiar, but I would have to cheat to get the correct answer. Unfortunately, I don't think I can place their conterparts...
