Ack! It's May!
I hate it when the a new month sneaks up on me like that.
I'm sure I've forgotten several things that I wanted to get done in April, but since I've forgotten them they don't bother me that much.
Last week was very archery filled. I visited the Limerick Bowmen club with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
joef_johnm, kandy_elizabet and singewulf. Then the next day singewulf hosted his first practice of the season - great turn out too. Finally, on Saturday we attended Spring Thing down in Caer Adamant. I had a great time hanging out with folks and shooting. The roving range was a lot of fun (first time I've gone through one down there), and I even got to get a royal round in. I now have a (poor) royal round average of 19.33. I'll be able to get another one in at Beltaine, so hopefully I'll be able to raise it pretty quickly (not that I expect to be able to raise it very far yet...) (As a side note, given the way the RR avg is calculated, I only need to shoot a 17 or better to bring my avg up.) I'm going to suggest we start doing royal rounds at singewulf's practices. Because of the missing RR avg as well as some other stuff going on, I was not able to try and become an archery marshal as we had hoped.
Sunday was our second D&D session, and the first time I got to play my character. He worked pretty much as expected, but I still need to flesh out his personality and character a bit more. I've gotten better at that with the last few characters, but it can still take a while.
This week looks to be pretty busy. Fencing on Monday, finish writing up game reconstruction on Tuesday, trip to NYC for work on Wednesday, shire meeting on Thursday and driving to MA on Friday.
