Lunch time experiment.

For lunch I bought a bottle of Diet Coke, Diet Coke with Splenda, and Coke Zero and did a side by side taste test.  Diet Coke is still Diet Coke - I don't like it but I'm used to it.  The Splenda version does a good job of tasting the same without the aspartame after taste.  The new Coke Zero uses less aspartame and a different mix of the ingredients that are in Diet Coke.  To me it tastes like a flat Coke.  I don't notice the aftertaste, but neither is there much of the Coke bite.  Overall, my favorite of the three is the one with Splenda.  Some day I need to try the Coke Zero, Splenda and regular Coke together.

is Coke planning on phasing out Diet Coke with NutraSweet and replacing it with Diet Coke with Splenda and Coke Zero or am I going to have to continue reading labels on Diet Coke to make sure I don't get the one that gives me a headache?
