I am faintly boggled at the idea that they actually made that into a movie, and moreso by the fact that the trailers look *really* faithful to the original...

I understand that Frank Miller was heavily involved (getting both writing and directing credits) and has given the finished movie his blessing. I can't wait to see it :)
