These days it takes a guest I'm really interested in (or a Clam Chowder concert) for me to show up to any convention. Still, before Philcon moved downtown I would at least day trip each year.
Even so, I've not been getting much out of cons these days, so it's hard to justify the time and money. Fairly depressing when I think about it - I used to attend several cons a year, and while I had fun I don't think I ever got really caught up in fandom. I always seemed to be on the edges. Ah well. There at least you have my reasons for skipping again.
