Finished up this one some time during jury duty. Classic SF, Nebula winner that explores how language influences thought. Time to look for some more Delany books.
Thanks for the tip. I haven't run across much linguistic SF aside from Vance's The Languages of Pao and, of course, 1984. And I'm intrigued by the Sapir-Whorf theory and the surrounding controversies.
