Both of those two items relate to my belief that Congress abuses its powers. I'd also be willing to remove term limits on the president (same deal then - we can always vote him/her out).

The line item veto just makes sense to me. Most governors have it and the states still seem to function. If congress wants to pass something that the president opposes then they need to have enough support to override a veto.
