When I want to do some decent work in the side yard, I get my ass out of bed as early as possible, while it's still in the shade. In the afternoons, I treat it as a dead zone. I didn't really think about it, but I've got the whole yard mapped according to low and high radiation zones according to time of day.

I really hate being in direct sunlight.

When you said "Industrial Weeding" I was hoping you had gotten your hands on a flame weeder. ;)
